Heeeello, I'm Michelle. Here are a couple of useless facts, to avoid rather boring generalities like <I'm a college student who loves video games, etc. etc.< -- not trying to sound pretentious, but I AM trying to keep myself from falling asleep as I type this, haha. So:

1. I love scary/mind-fucking/survival horror games. Examples include different series of games: Fatal Frame, Silent Hill, and just recently Resident Evil. Well, maybe <love< is too strong a word. I guess it's a morbid fascination of sorts.

2. I also love RPGs -- and yeah, a bunch of them are <JRPGs<. Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger/Chross, Breath of Fire, the list goes on.

3. Okay, so I love a bunch of different genres of video games in general.

4. I own an overweight hot dog. I mean, dachshund.

5. I read manga way more often than I watch anime -- downloading anime, or loading videos online takes a lot more effort than waiting a minute or two for a manga chapter or waiting for the next page of an online reader to load. Plus, I'm incredibly lazy.

6. Also, I love sleep.

7. I love looking at cosplay, and maybe would even like to cosplay one day, if I got in shape first. Which is not to say I have a problem with people cosplaying who are not <in shape< -- if you're having fun, go for it. But I do think you also need a certain amount of self-esteem to wear and be comfortable in a costume, and I'll be the first to admit I don't have much of a positive body image, which factors into my self-esteem somewhat...but that's enough about that.

8. I like to say I'm open-minded, but I find it difficult to see things from other people's perspectives. This is not helped by the fact that I am socially awkward.

9. I am not kidding when I say I am socially awkward. As in, no real friends outside of family and family <friends< because I am not comfortable/used to interacting with people I haven't known my whole life.

Alright, enough of that. Now you've got a tiny idea of what I'm about. :)
